Short anecdote: With JUNK FARM, we unfortunately didn’t have many opportunities to play live, and we often cowardly avoided putting PERFECT DREAM on the setlist, at least not as the first number 😉. I remember us playing that song at a small club gig when our drummer lost one of his bass drum pedals while playing the fast double bass drum chorus groove because of a defective screw. We didn’t stop playing because the show must go on, right? …but man, what a (funny) disaster 🤣

BENJAMIN SCHIPPRITT is an enthusiastic and passionate musician since the early 1980s. His main instruments and the foundation of his musical thinking are the electric and western acoustic guitar, but he also enjoys singing and playing the electric bass guitar. Additionally, he produces, records, and mixes music in his studio.

Spending a lifetime around his guitar, Benjamin has developed a virtuosic playing style and completed a full-time jazz guitar study at the Institute for the Arts (Artez) in the Netherlands. Despite his jazz background, he has a strong passion for rock music. His creative songwriting and contributions span many different styles of music, perfectly fitting that rocking attitude. Besides being a live and studio musician, he is utterly passionate about guitar teaching.
