Trooko, originally from Honduras and now based in LA, is a GRAMMY and multiple Latin GRAMMY Award-winning producer, mixer, and mastering engineer. He has worked with stars like Beyoncé, M.I.A., Major Lazer, Santigold, Chris Brown, and the Beastie Boys. Highlights of his career include co-producing a track with Prince for Judith Hill and contributing to “The Hamilton Mixtape” with Lin-Manuel Miranda, which topped the Billboard 200. His work on the song “Immigrants” won the “Best Fight Against the System” MTV VMA in 2017.

In 2017, Trooko teamed up with Residente, a celebrated Latin artist with 21 Grammy awards, to produce the acclaimed album “Residente.” This album won two Latin Grammys and was hailed as one of the “Best 50 Albums of 2017” by Rolling Stone, the New York Times, and Billboard Magazine. Trooko also contributed to Residente’s documentary, “Residenté,” which premiered at SXSW and is streaming on Netflix.
