"Corrine, Corrina" – Live from Dee's Cocktail Lounge.

‘Corrine, Corrina’ live from Dee’s Country Cocktail Lounge in Nashville, TN in the winter of 2023.

Adapted from the traditional tune ‘Has Anybody Seen My Corrine?’, Corrina Corrine has roots dating back to blues, folk, and jazz. The tune first entered the western swing genre through Milton Brown and was later popularized by Bob Wills. This night in Music City was a rare intermingling of some of Nashville’s rising country/bluegrass pickers (Ryan Stigmon on steel and Julian Panelli on Fiddle) and New York Citys’ top wind lead players (Mike
Davis on Trumpet and Ricky Alexander on Saxaphone). Chris Gelb on Drums, coming from the NYC jazz scene and Jarod Manzo on bass, a prominent Nashville Country & Western traditionalist, made for a fanastic combination of country and jazz rythmn. I was honored to lead these gentlemen through two hours of swing band country and to share the stage with the great Meg Farrell.

Ain’t had this love fit anytime before

My love Corrina where’d ya sleep last night
