Danae Olano
Two-time Juno award winning pianist, composer and arranger Danae Olano is a founding member of the all-woman band Jane Bunnett and Maqueque. Originally from Cuba and now residing in Toronto, Danae is heavily influenced by the legacies of great Cuban pianists, jazz masters, classical forms and Brazilian rhythms as well as her Afro-Cuban roots.

This concert is co-presentation by Lula Music and Arts Centre and Small World Music as part of the Lulaworld Records Fest and Small World’s 25 for 25 series – celebrating the 25th anniversary of Small World Music.
