‘Come to this Mountainside’ was written two weeks before the Camp Fire in California started on November 8, 2018. That was the deadliest and most destructive wildfire in California’s history. The song describes the horrors of the climate crisis while offering a message of hope.

“At the time I wrote the song, I wrote a batch of songs. I wrote it down and moved on to the next song. Then when the fire was going on, I started to practice the songs and realized it was an eerie peek into the future.” Wolff
